The goal of this seminar is to have a closer look at some selected journal articles in statistical bioinformatics focusing on omics data. At the same time, each journal article will be the starting point to have a more indepth look at a statistical idea which is of more general interest. Possible topics include (this list will be extended and is open to further ideas and wishes of the participants):
